California Dreamin'

Luke and I just got back from a five day escape to visit my "home", So. California. Robby played "Mister Mom" with the other three boys. (thanks Rob:)
I had so much fun with my sisters! We tried to hit as many of my favorite spots as possible. We started off the visit with a shopping spree at H&M then we went down to Laguna beach (my families favorite beach) and had lunch at Las Brisas. Las Brisas is the place were my family traditionally eats in Laguna. We followed up our lunch with a trip to South Coast Plaza and then Dinner and shakes at Ruby's Diner. Melissa introduced me to the most beautiful and the largest nursery I have ever been to. I could have wandered around smelling the flowers for hours.
Saturday we began the morning at the Pasadena farmer's market then we took a trip down memory lane and drove by my old high school, church and homes.
For our afternoon we walked around down town Claremont and visited one of our all time favorite girly stores, "Barbara Cheatley's"
The weather was so nice and amidst all our running around we had some yummy food. My sisters are gourmet cooks and we all love to try new foods so it is always fun to eat together. It was an awesome escape but alas I am back to 40 degree weather and eating corn dogs and dino nuggets but I have returned to my beautiful boys and the adventures that they continually introduce me to. - Christy P.S. I love your gutts sisters! Thank you for being my sisters and my best friends
